Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 6 November 2026

  1. The service: Margin is a web app that tracks an e-commerce brand's sales, expenses and profit, using data you enter, data from Shopify and Bosta that you connect, and AI that reads your text, voice notes, receipts and spreadsheets.
  2. Who we are: Margin is run by Abdullah Mostafa Zaki, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: support@marginegy.com.
  3. Your account: You are responsible for your login and for what happens in your workspace. You must be allowed to share the Shopify and Bosta data you connect.
  4. Acceptable use: Use Margin only for lawful business purposes. Don't try to get around plan or AI limits, overload the service, or access other people's workspaces.
  5. Plans and the trial: Plans and their limits are listed on the Pricing page. Your first workspace gets a 14 day Pro trial with no payment needed. When it ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan unless you have paid for a plan. Your data is kept.
  6. Payment: Plans are paid monthly in Egyptian pounds by InstaPay or Telda transfer. We activate your plan by hand once we have confirmed the transfer, normally within 24 hours. We don't store card or bank details. Nothing is charged automatically and nothing renews on its own: to keep a plan, pay again before the month ends. Margin is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the price.
  7. When a paid month ends: If it isn't renewed, the workspace moves to the Free plan 3 days after the end date. Your data is not deleted.
  8. Price changes: We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A month you have already paid for keeps its price.
  9. AI output: AI suggestions (amounts, categories, report text) can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them. Margin is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and you are responsible for the final check of your financial records.
  10. Third parties: Shopify, Bosta and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy can have outages or change their services. We are not responsible for their data or downtime.
  11. Liability: To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.
  12. Ending: You can stop using Margin at any time and ask us to delete your workspace (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend workspaces that break these terms.
  13. Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt.
